I am the most horrible person in the world about pictures. One of the “tips” that came with my first diaper bag 5 years ago, was to keep a small disposable camera in your bag so you wouldn’t “miss” out on any of those wonderful, fun, cute, beautiful moments that you share with your children. If you are like me I have a very nice digital camera that has 2 different lenses, flash and storage to hold about 1000 pictures.  I pull out the camera every once in a while and take some pictures of the kids. About 6 months go by and I will take a couple more. My digital camera is literally that kodak commercial where everyone is worried about who is going to be “deleted” next to free up more space for new pictures. My problem is that my camera is too nice and too big to take on everyday outtings.

So now I want to say Thank you to the cell phone makers for including “cameras” on my phone.  Now if i take a cute picture I can send Picture mail to grandma, grandpa, daddy or even their aunts…

I have 142 pictures on my iphone (most of them are from my 5 year daughter who likes to document our trips to Publix picture after picture), but i can upload them to my facebook album, upload them to costco.com (to print), send them in an electronic card and send them as daily “pick me ups” to daddy and grandpa.  Its even nice as profile pics and wallpapers

So thank  you cell phone makers for putting a camera on all our cell phones, you help busy mothers like me to document our childs milestones.
